Digital Scrapbooking and Other Things...

I had a great weekend! In general, I make plans and then don't follow through. After just having a baby four months ago sometimes I would rather stay home and try to clean the house, which by the way is nearly impossible with an infant. Also, I tend to make plans and then change my mind ...sometimes it is just easier not to do.

However, several weeks ago we had planned to go to our town Christmas festival. We are new to area where we live, having just moved here in March. I love our town! It has the perfect combination of country and quaint with upscale houses. I am proud to be a small town girl because that is how I grew up in Pennsylvania. Having moved to Texas, I was not sure I would be able to get that small town feel anywhere because as they say everything is bigger in Texas, but after moving to Prosper I can honestly say we found our perfect fit.

So this weekend we planned to go to the Christmas festival, which would be our boy's first Christmas parade! It was in the 40s so we had to bundle up and bundle up the little guy as well. The Hubster and I had a blast! I did not realize at the time, but this was our town's first Christmas parade and it was fun and exciting to see the vehicles driving in the parade and especially the garbage truck which was captained by Santa himself!

I am trying to learn how to digital scrapbook, it is part of my goals and aspirations list, so I am thinking that the Christmas festival will be the perfect event to make an attempt! I cannot wait to try. I did dabble a little with it and the hardest part for me has been organization of the different items. However as a traditional scrapbooker that has always been my downfall. I have many baubles and bits and no where to put them with traditional scrapping. When it comes to digital scrapbooking, it is the same problem but instead of having trouble with physical baubles and bits the problem is the files!
